I bought an Ion record player that says I can play right into the included iPod dock to transfer vinyl and cassettes into the iPod. I have tried both my iPod Classic and Touch. The instructions say that the iPods have to be in voice memo mode to record. I cannot find the Voice Memo on either of the iPods I have. I have looked at the menu options of each. Is there something I'm not doing or do I need to update the operating systems. The iPod touch is up to iOS 5. I haven't updated the Classic and don't know whether there is an upgrade for it anyway. Thanks for any info.
