Cannot Connect to Internet! Please Help!

Last week my iTouch 3g with ios5 stopped connecting to my home network, even after I reset the router and modem and restarted the iPod. Yesterday it stopped connecting to all wifi networks. I'll see that I have 2 or 3 or however many bars, but when I try to go to a webpage I get a "cannot connect to internet" popup. I've tried setting up a static network to no avail as I saw that solved a similar problem a few months ago for some people. Does anyone know what I can do to get my iTouch connecting to the internet again?
