My video ipod came formatted for windows, but i have a mac. How do I reformat it? Also It doesnt show up on my computer, but it is charging when it plugs in...

It shouldn't matter, if it's formatted in Windows; it should still work with your mac out of the box. But you can certainly download the firmware update for your iPod and format it for your mac. Your iPod should show up in iTunes, if it isn't showing up in the desktop. Do you want it show up on the desktop or won't your iPod even connect to your mac?
