hi guys, im new here. I just got my new ipod, i tried uploading my videos but it said ipod cant play them. i used macripper to rip my dvd then used hand break to encode to mpeg4 and 320 by 24o resolution. Followed the instructions perfectly heres the link to it http://diveintomark.org/howto/ipod-dvd-ripping-guide/ . Any suggestion you guys have as to what i maybe doing wrong or what i need to do.

I think video has to be H.264 encoded. Try this program ''ffmpegX". It's really cool, I was able to encode a small video into my cell phone using the .3pg format.

It's just requires a little more knowlege and correct execution to get the video mode correct. I doubt Apple had intended for every possible movie to be ported to the ipod or they may have created a simple solution to convert other formats. They would prefer you purchase your videos from Itunes.
