Hoping someone out there knows the answer. I can turn my classic on, I can see all of my music but when I try to play it just skips from one song to the next. I know the headphones and sound are working as I can hear the click when I use it.

Try holding the menu and center button at the same time to reset iPod. Apple - Support - iPod - iPod classic Troubleshooting Assistant
