Nano & Monster Radio Cable

Mac Specs: 13" Air, 2 Ghz Intel Core i7, 500 SSD, 8G Ram

Until today, my nano could broadcast through my car radio using the Monster car radio broadcast cable. Today, it does not work. I attached my other iPod and it worked fine. Any ideas? Should I exchange the Nano?
