Nothing new in the iPod 4G, right?
I am contemplating just buying the black 4G from Amazon right now because they have 'em for $200 already.

There's nothing new to speak of that will come with the new SKUs, right? I'm guessing just iOS5 preinstalled?

No new hardware with the iPod Touch - just a drop in price currently.

Apple dropped the price on them yesterday, so they're only $199 direct from Apple also.
I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.

Should I wait for iPod Touch 5G and some more questions!

I'm planning to buy a refurbished iPod Touch 4G from here - Apple iPod touch 64 GB (4th Generation)-Black NEWEST MODEL: MP3 Players & Accessories

    My questions:-

    1) What would be the fundamental difference between this product and the latest iPod Touch that I can buy directly from Apple?
    2) Can I install iOS5 after I buy this refurbished iTouch?
    3) Does this product have an inbuilt microphone that I can use to record my voice?
    4) When is the next update of iPod Touch releasing? Should I wait for it or buy this right away? What's your advice?

    1. The one you link to is not a brand new one, despite the name. There's nothing actually different about the latest one except that a) the Apple one would ship from the factory with iOS 5 already on board and b) you now have the option of a white model. That's it.
    2. Yes.
    3. Yes.
    4. Nobody knows, but I can say with HUGE confidence that we are done with the iPod Touch for the rest of 2011, so that makes it QUITE likely that we won't see another one till this time next year.
