Need a new Ipod

Currently using a Sony Mp3 and want to get a new IPOD (classic) will this be around for a while or is something new going to come out soon? I know as soon as I buy one something new will come out or do you think the classic will be around for a while? I strictly want it for music, nothing more really. I wish they made one with half the amount of space because that is all I need.

I doubt you will find anything better at its current price and size for music than the Classic and it did not get a refresh last year ,since SSD is still to high I doubt we will see a new Classic.
