ipod not listed in itune but seen on my computer as G AND RAW

HELP NEEDED URGENT
i have a ipod classic 120g i have tried to update it, everything works fine but when it restart it enters disk mode and is not showing on my itune, it only show after a while on my computer as G: and then it is raw.

i have reset the ipod and allow the battery to drain but still
please Wat do u think i should do

please help me

you may want to turn off disk mode if you don't need it as such. Page 49 in your manual says to select your device, click on summary tab, go to options, deselect "Enable disk use."
