Just use iTunes, select your track, then go to
Advanced>Convert selection to... To make sure you have it set to AAC, go to: iiTunes>Preferences>Importing then select AAC in the "Import Using" drop down menu. __________________________________________________ Posting and YOU|Forum Community Guidelines|The Apple Product Cycle|Forum Courtesy mac: a waterproof raincoat made of rubberized fabric MAC: a data communication protocol sub-layer, also known as the Media Access Control Mac: a brand name which covers several lines of personal computers designed, developed, and marketed by Apple Inc.

Highlight all of them and do what D3v1L80Y said.
If you already have your songs in mp3 there is no point to converting them to AAC, you could lose some quality and there isn't any compression advantages of going from mp3 -> aac. Just import your things from now on in AAC and you will be fine Don't forget to use the new User Reputation System |

By a small amount but if you already have your files in mp3 you will degrade the quality by re-encoding the mp3's.

If you have the original source (The CD). Then I'd just delete the MP3's and re-encode as AAC.
It'll take some time if you have a lot of music, but you wont be loosing any sound quality and getting the benefits of AAC. Personally I hope Apple allows iPods to play OGG files in the future. |
