Can you use an Itouch as a Universal Remote Control?
I've heard that you can turn an Iphone into a universal remote with the right app.

Does any generation of the Itouch allow you to do the same?

This can be done with the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad. You need the right software and a dongle to actually send the IR signals Check out this article for some of the pros and cons iPhone IR remotes compared Review | Home Theater | Playlist | Macworld
