So I got this usb project started in my car. I took a usb car charger with dual ports, took off the molded plastic housing, and ran power from the wiring harness on the cigarette lighter to circuit board of the charger. Cut a hole in a discrete spot on my dash and glued it with epoxy so it stays flush mounted.
At first I was proud of my accomplishment. Then I plugged in my ipod and to the usb and the headphone cable into my aux port. Seemed cumbersome. Two cables from different locations.. Messy!
So a thought occured to me. What if I can run a mini cable from into my stereo to one of the usb ports I just installed to pick up audio straight off the usb cable. (1/8th headphone to bare wire which will be soddered to the female usb port).

So my question is.. Does anyone know where on the usb port can I pull audio from the 4 pins?
Anyone know?
Thanks!
QUOTE Thanks
