So, with the latest iOS update today, I thought I was going to be able to use homescreen wallpaper on my 2nd generation iPod touch. If you scroll all the way to the bottom of Apple's "iOS 4.2" info page, you'll see that the 2nd generation iPod touch has a picture with a homescreen wallpaper:
Apple - iOS 4.2 Software Update is this a mistake? Getting wallpaper behind your apps still not available for me? |

Look at it again.
The 2nd Generation model does NOT show a wallpaper, the 3rd and 4th Generation models do. Your iPod can only have the default black background. HP Pavillion G62; 2.10 GHZ, 4GB DDR3 Ram, 320GB HDD. 32GB Apple iPod Touch (4G). LG Gossip. |
