iPod Classic Cutting Songs Short?

Hey there folks,

I have a 120gb iPod Classic (model MB565LL) that likes to cut songs short when playing. It doesn't happen incredibly often, but often enough to have become an annoyance. It will cut songs anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes short, even though the display says that the song is the actual length. I have restored it to factory settings and updated the software a couple of different occasions, but it still cuts short.

Does anyone else have this same problem?

try restoring it, maybe it will work. Or try restart, press the menu and center button until it turns off and turns on again..

I have the same problem, I have been told it is a bad partition in the drive itself since it isn't flash memory

Have you tried checking the song in iTunes to see if it plays through completely? I had that happen occasionally, but sometimes the song was just broken somehow, did the same thing in iTunes.
