ipod shuffle sync problem

i just bought a ipod shuffle 2gb and connet to pc via itunes but it does not sync, and i got the error below can you help me please

It looks like either iTunes can not find a particular file to sync or the file is in an unknown format or may be corrupt. Remove the offending file and try again. It should work.
