I have turned a DVD of my son's into an MP4 using Handbrake.
I am trying to drag it onto my ipod whilst connected to itunes, but the message says "it was not copied to the ipod because it cannot be played on this ipod"
I try and drag it onto my ipod using the desktop icon and it copies but there is no sign of it on my ipod.
Can anyone help me?
I'd be most grateful.
QUOTE Thanks

The settings in these guides might help you... [Though I do apologise for the 1st title, which is "Handbrake for Idiots"]

Mac Handbrake for idiots
Ripping a DVD to an iPod Video - Mac Guides

As for the MP4 files you've already made, you could try re-encoding them via

Download iSquint for Mac - iPod video conversion app. MacUpdate Mac Software Downloads

which may save you a bit of time doing the DVD all over again.
