just got my powerbook today. i tried extracting the MP3s off my ipod with Senuti. For some reason Senuti could no longer extract the files, I tried to eject the ipod, but it wouldn't eject. SO I had to manually disconnect it. Well, of course I lose all my MP3s! About 2000 songs. I'm not posting to complain about that, but I tried to connect my ipod to my pb, but the pb won't recognize that it's connected! What should I do? BTW, my ipod is formatted for Windows, but my Windows PC has been taken apart. Any help is appreciated!

Try resetting the iPod first, and then see what happens. Don't worry, this shouldn't erase anything:

I don't think that it matters if it is connected to windows

Though Senuti is great...If you try to extract them again when you get it fixed you might want to try a different program...

use podutil from version tracker next time you want to extract the songs, it works really well, if you pay for it then it does not tell you its an unregistered version, if you don't pay for it it will remind you that you have not registered after it copies 200 songs or so.
