is there any (or software) that can help determine if you have any duplicate songs stored on your ipod?

normally i will just type a song in and see if two show up; but with over 10,000 songs i can't search them all.

is there a way that this could be done automatically?

Dupin will check for duplicated in your iTunes library:
dupin - Google Search

Unfortunately finding dupes in iTunes does not equal cleaning your IPod of dupes.

Try this out:
Yet another iPod manager - Home
At least this came as a direct response for the problem on other forums, and it works directly with the files on your iPod and not through a gateway app.
