I am trying to transfer all the music from my ipod touch to my macbook pro so that I can update my ipod, and I was wondering if anyone knows a good software I can use to do that? I would like to be able to transfer the album artwork as well if possible.

I've been in the unfortunate position of needing to effectively formatting my iPod Touch due to a problem.

iTunes keeps a back up of your music (provided you regularly sync the two), it is able to restore the music to the device (give it the same name you had).
