Moving non purchased songs to new itunes.

My last computer, which was a piece of crap, completely failed (it stopped working). I just got a new laptop and I download iTunes onto the laptop, my iPod has all my current music on it from my last computer/iTunes. If I choose to sync my music it will only sync the purchased songs and wipe out my iPod of my other non purchased songs. How do I transfer all of my songs even the non purchased songs from my Ipod to my new iTunes. I'm not able to do a disk back up on my other computer because it's completely dead. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
