Hey everyone,

Can anyone here tell me if it's possible to have an iPod touch converted to an iPhone or must i purchase a new unit?

The only way to obtain an iPhone, is to buy one. There is absolutely no way to convert a Touch into Phone.

You'd have to add in speakers, a mic, a camera, a sim-card reader, a bigger battery, a GSM transmitter/receiver... it'd just be WAY to much stuff and engineering to do it. Not to mention cash, dude, just buy an iPhone if you want one.
QUOTE Thanks
