iPod - Nano 2G stuck on lock icon

My Nano 2G is stuck on lock. I have locked and unlocked the slider on top numerous times, and the lock icon will not go away. I have also reset it a number of times holding menu and select. I also tried restoring it, and that didn't help. Any suggestions on what else I could do? I am using it on a Mac.

I was gonna say reset it but you've already done that. Hmm, either buy a new one or get it checked out with Apple.
