I know that the first time an iPod is connected to a computer it becomes formatted for the particular operating system. I have been using Windows, but I just got a new Mac and don't know if I should restore the iPod or not so it is formatted for Mac. I connected the iPod to the Mac and it works just as it did on the Windows, so is there a reason I would need to restore? Thanks.

I don't think you must format your IPOD when you change a computer. besides Why don't you keep another copy of all your storage.
QUOTE Thanks
