Im planning on selling my ipod touch to get a new ipod touch will i be able to transfer my apps and saved data from my old touch to my new one?

All your apps are stored in your iTunes library. Just make sure you sysnc your iPod before getting rid (to be sure any over the air purchases have been added to your library).

When you get your new iPod sync with iTunes.
