My daughter and I both have laptops with iTunes set up the same way. I've never had a problem importing CDs, but she frequently gets the "encoder settings for bit rate and sample rate incorrect..." error. I've compared the settings on both machines (PCs) from the iTunes settings down to the audio codec settings. It's all identical. Anyone seen this? I'm thinking she has some software for a game or similar that is confusing either iTunes or the drive.
