05-16-2008, 06:12 PM #1I broke this on my nano....am I screwed? (PICTURES!!!)
I broke the little plastic black connector on my 1st gen Nano.
Now the LCD cable won't stay put unless I tape it.
The thing is, with electrical black tape...it doesn't work.
I got the screen to light up once just by holding it in there, just white, no words or anything.
Can I make it work without it, or is it (another) new logic board for me?
Here's the picture, I apologize if it's too big. (Wasn't sure if the cropping would make the size different)
There is supposed to be a black plastic connector that flips up/down that holds that cable in place.

the connector probably pulls the connection into the plug tightly, from right to left in that pic2.4ghz Unibody | Hitachi 320GB 7200 | 256MB 9600gt
