First time on here so please bear with me.
I have an iPod that has just died - checking the Forum I can try re-setting and if that doesn't work I can change the internal battery myself (cheaper than Apple at 50).
However how do I ensure all the music and vids are saved or do I just have to live with the fact that I loose them when I change the battery?
QUOTE Thanks

How do you know that it's the battery that died? The 80GB Classic has only been out for -what - about 6 months? I can't imagine that the battery is bad already.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

No, the hard drive remains intact. Does the screen turn on when you plug it into your computer?
