iPod - 80g iPod classic won't turn on

my ipod classic is dead it won't turn on at all, reseting doesnt work it shows te apple then turns of HELP PLEASE

Um just spitballing dead battery (probably not it would show battery sign)
Um water damage look in the head phone jack if it is orange circle at the bottom than that could be your problem.
Hmm .... Have you tried restoring it through iTunes.
