I experience that when I connect my iPod shuffle to the USB port , the cursor shortly after that freezes up and the machine practically hangs. If I remove the ipod, the cursor then becomes free and I can continue using the machine. From the log I read the following message:
[0x1a8ba00] The IOUSBFamily is having trouble enumerating a USB device that has been plugged in. It will keep retrying. (Port 2 of hub @ location: 0x18200000) I have a backup disc, a MIDI-USB converter, a printer and a scanner connected to the USB ports at the same time. Disconnecting any of the devices does not seem to help. Anyone with an idea of what causes this? |
