iPhone - video converting software

what video converting software does everyone use to make videos for the iPhone/iPod? Since there aren't any good free ones and the shady looking ones add a watermark to the video I guess I'll just have to actually buy a software, but I want to make sure i get a good one.

Handbrake for DVDs. FREE!

iSquint for any other video files. Also FREE!

To convert to iPod format, use iSquint. It's free too.
