I have a cable for playing the sound from my Video iPod via the vehicle stereo. Will this cable work with the iPhone at least for charging the phone? Would be nice if it would allow playing as well.

Anyone tried this or know if this is possible.

Should work for charging. I use all my Video iPod cables for charging and syncing. As far as the audio goes, you'll just have to try it. I tried using my clock radio that's made for my iPod with my iPhone and the iPhone just said not made for iPhone...
QUOTE Thanks
