Congrats on the new purchase, welcome to the cult.

I bought the DLO Jam Jacket. It is silicone and has a headphone storage "thing" on the back. You can also just pull the phone out the case and leave the headphones wound around it. I'm really happy with it.

To each his own of course, but its definitely worth a look if nothing else...

It's the diablo as shown in my pic above.

It comes with the plastic shield and one of those clear films you can place on the screen, but I didn't put that on mine.

I'm considering a case but all of the ones I've seen seem too bulky to me. Anyone know of some slimmer ones?

I ordered a bodyguardz iphone cover. I'm not into bulky covers or simply a cover to protect just my screen.. After some searching i found Bodyguardz

The description sold me:

Quote:
BodyGuardz are a clear film that covers the body of a Apple iPhone providing scratch protection from outside elements. Designed to custom fit each particular device, these protectors are made from the same material that is used to protect the front of automobiles from stones and other abrasive elements.
OoOOoOOoOO.. then i checked out their site and saw the video of a chick applying the cover, and it looks really good and professional. Can't even tell a case is on.. SOLD

Only sucky thing is how i am in UK, so gotto wait for it to be delivered -_-

I wanted something that protected my iPhone but wasn't too bulky to carry in my pocket so I went with this one:

Other than the fact it's brown, I'm happy with it..

I also went with this one with the kickstand for air travel:

It offers NO protection but the kickstand rocks out.
