if i buy an iPhone and not activate it can i still use the iPod and WiFi features? my sprint contract is up in 2 months but if this is possible i want to purchase it now that we have them in stock. sorry if this was asked but i cannot find the answer. thanks

Officially, no. You can't use it until the phone is activated. It will only let you make emergency calls.
Don't worry about them being in stock. Apple has made plenty and they will still be there in 2 months

There is in fact a way but THAT is certainly illegal. I suggest not to violate Apple EULA nor AT&T agreements.
