iPhone for non-US residents?

OK, I'm a US citizen and Mac lover, but I don't live in the US (I'm in China). Will there be an iPhone for us to use? If so, then I'd be one of the first to buy one, from the looks of things so far.

Right now Apple has only announced the release date for the US. I'm sure other countries will follow soon.
