Reports of 8 to 10 degree variances between Iphone 5 and 5s as well as error prone motion sensors .....

Move over, Apple Maps: iPhone 5S motion sensor malfunction may be widespread | Apple - CNET News

As someone who received a 'free bumper' (case) to alleviate dropped calls, I wonder how this will be solved. Perhaps -- "it's a phone, not a compass or it's a phone, not a bumper car"

Looks like I may wait a bit longer before I grab an iPhone 5s. Always pays to wait awhile and let others find the glitches. Like the article states... if it's a hardware problem, nothing except a new iPhone with a corrected gyro is going to solve it.

If the inaccuracy is consistent (i.e., it's always 5 off), then this should be a fairly simple firmware correction.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
