I have a Kenwood DDX719 in my truck. it worked great with my Iphone 4. I could watch videos on it thru the Ipod setting and I could actually use the Iphone with a Navigation app and it would show thru the kenwood unit.now when i plug in my Iphone 5 to my Kenwood, I get audio just fine but no video or nav. I am using the lightning to 30 pin adapter so i am wondering if that is preventing any video from showing on the Kenwood. Any ideas????

I don't know if this is the issue, but who made the adapter?

That one also does not support video output, as it says on the page at the Apple Store.

According to this article, Apple plans (and may have already created) some direct Lightning-to-HDMI and Lightning-to-VGA adapters. There's also AirPlay as mentioned in this article:

Apple Lightning connectors may omit video-out support [U] | MacNN
