Is there a way to silence the shutter "click" when taking a picture with the iPhone4? Thanks in advance."Laughter is an instant vacation"

By far the easier way is to slide the slider bar to the off position thus muting the phone and all it's sound effects.
The other way I knew was to use an app to navigate the system folders on your phone and slightly alter the filename of a file called photoShutter.caf in /System/Library/Audio/UISounds. The app was called MobileFinder and as far as I can see no longer exists.
To be honest changing system files is not something that I would want to do in case I bodged it
