Hi, I use places on my iPhone and have some pictures on my location, I also use iMessage and was wondering if I have pictures in my places and send some of them pictures to my friends on iMessage would they be able to see the location on their iPod places if they saved the pictures?

Thank you

I think the best way is to try it out and let them tell you if they can see the location.

Certainly if they saved the photo to an app e.g. iPhoto then it's info should show but I think the functionality on the iPhone is limited with regards to accessing a photo's data file.
Every digital photo has a data file called 'exif' but Im not sure whether the location info is embedded within. It doesn't seem to show when you actually access the exif data.
You can test view this by dragging it onto your desktop and right click/Get Info
