I randomly see this cool OS skin on my iPhone 4...

Newb here and I'm sorry if this has been asked before.

I have an iPhone 4 and after I updated to the newest OS, my screen randomly looks like the one in the image. I don't know why or how I can make it look like this all the time. It seems to just come and go and at first I thought I was just drunk, but then next time it occurred I took a screen shot so I can ask someone about it. None of my friends have ever seen their phone display like this so I just wanted to know if anyone here has and how you can make it always look like that because I think it looks cool! Thanks

hehe, this is the Message Center. Pretty much anytime (except when the phone is locked) swipe one finger from the top of the screen all the way down towards the home button. Voila :-)
