3GS from O2 to Vodafone.

Hi all,

I have given my old 32gig 3GS to my step mum who has a vodafone contract
and the phone had been used on o2. So after a complete reset of the phone it is giving a message that the sim card is not compatable and will not allow a new set up or go any further.

I'm to to happy about this as i bought the phone direct from the apple store as an unlocked device, but it seems that O2 have clamed it.

If any of you could point me in the right place to fix this mess it would be great. I have seen a few sites talking about jail breaking it but i would rather not do this is it can be avoided.

The only thing I can think of is that O2 unlocked my iPhone for free, so if you put the O2 SIM back in and go through the procedure it should be unlocked by them in a couple of days https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?...oute=unlocking
