iphone and ipod apps

I have an ipod touch and am looking to buy the iphone4. Since I have so many apps on my ipod touch when I buy the iphone can they also be put on my iphone without purchasing them again?

Yes, there shouldn't be a problem. I also started with an iPod Touch and currently use both of them with the same apps because I didn't want to get rid of my iPod Touch. It seems that apps are purchased per iTunes account and not per Apple devices. I'm thankful it's this way because I don't want to buy apps twice for my devices. I actually wouldn't if it came to that.
