hey everybody. we just switched 7 lines from at&t to verizon, moving from iphone 3GSs to iphone 4s. we made backup copies of the old phones & moved everything to the new ones. after a few days i emailed everyone to tell them to bring me their old phones so i could erase all the data & prep them for resale. 3 of the phones came back this morning so i erased them using the built-in erase function on the iphone.

now, my mom (one of the 7) just texted me at 430pm saying "i just remembered i had a voicemail from grandmommy still on my phone!!" my grandmother died last august after a long, ugly battle with kidney cancer. is there ANY way to some how make that message magically reappear? could it possibly have been stored in a backup copy somewhere? would there have been a way to transfer it even if she'd remembered it in time?

thanks for any help.

You may be able to recover it by jailbreaking the phone.

can you restore her phone with her backup to see if you can get it back?
and then maybe record the voicemail?
