My iphone 4 is sending text messages to the united kingdom, automatically...

i dont know the number and i never use international services...

My phone bill is huge!

My phone has been reset, formated, has the most recent iOS software...

It is doing this since day one!

the operator is charging money for facetime uses.

everytime the facetime is on it sends a text message to the carrier!

I was just going to mention the facetime charges. The Mac Facetime app from the App Store can call people by email address instead of via SMS - is there a way perhaps to call the email address instead on a phone?

The text is sent when you activate the facetime, let's say for the first time. If you turn it off on the settings. Everytime it's "re-activated" it sends a paid automatic text to the carrier. This is it.

When comparing the mac to the iphone... only by the number, even if you remove your sim card you phone wont connect to facetime via wi-fi. always needs the sim card. It is wierd since the ipod touch does it.
