iphone 3G and suddenly no synch capabilty

Member Since: Mar 10, 2011 Posts: 1	03-10-2011, 03:32 PM Hello, I have an iphone 3G and use an older macbook running OSX version 10.4.11. I have never experienced any problems synching my iPhone... now suddenly my laptop will not even recognize my phone as a device and so it is impossible to synch. No longer does iTunes open upon connecting my iPhone. I have restarted my computer and my iPhone. My computer says it is using the latest iTunes, 9.2.1. Does anyone have any thoughts ? Is my OSX just too dated all of the sudden ? Is it a hardware problem with my iPhone ? Why would iTunes not even recognize my phone all of the sudden ? Thanks, Susan
