Please use the Search function of the forums. This has been covered.
To use a printer with AirPrint in iOS 4.2.x it must be one of HP's branded printers listed on their website that are compatible. More printers and brands are likely to be compatible in the future.

i had some good timing and was in the market for a printer about a month before the airprint update..

went to HP website and found these

Photosmart e-AiO (D110) (Americas)4
Photosmart Wireless e-AiO (B110) (EU, AP)4
Photosmart Plus e-AiO (B210)
Photosmart Premium e-AiO (B310)
Photosmart Premium Fax e-AiO (C410)
HP ENVY100 e-AiO (D410)
Photosmart eStation (C510)

mine was about 200 bucks. connects every time

It has also been covered that there are work arounds to make non-AirPrint compatible printers work.
Printopia is one such solution. There are others.

Also, depending what you're trying to print and the hardware you have available, Google Cloud Print may work for you.
