Hi, so my dads birthday is coming up and what he wants is a ipod dock that also has a am/fm radio in it, however he wants it for the shower which has speakers in it. So i need to find a dock that has an output for audio wires for speakers (i forgot the name for the typical audio cable-the thin wire). Any ideas??

Thanks

Anyways,

I can only think of a handful of bathroom docks. Here are a couple.

Smartak - Amazon.com: Smartak Audio Wireless Waterproof Shower Speaker with Dock Transmitter: Electronics

Jensen Jiss-85 - Amazon.com: Jensen JISS-85 iPod MP3 Docking AM FM Shower Radio Stereo w/LCD Clock: Electronics

iHome - These are pretty popular with people.

iHome iH20 Shower to Shore Water-Resistant Speaker for iPod

Really, any speaker dock will do. The one I have, I just sit on the top of the toilet tank and plug my iPod/iPhone into it while in there. I primarily listen to audio books while showering rather than music, and have found this to be quite adequate vs requiring one that is waterproof that you can actually put inside the shower.

The sound quality of those waterproof ones are quite bad (imho) in comparison to any decent speaker dock.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.

i actually need one that just has wired external speakers. It doesnt need to be waterproof because the speakers are already in place and there is a shelf outside the shower for the dock player. any suggestions?
