iphone 3 restriction (aagghh!!)

first time poster - i have an iphone 3 that has a restriction code on it - dont know the code. i need to bring the 500 or so contacts over to iphone 3gs and have just taken out mobileme also - everytime i back up and try to put on the new iphone the restriction (no video, no app stroee etc etc) comes with it. apple have been no help and am getting might hacked off.....i can see the filkes in the application support file on my mac but dont know which is the restriction fiukle
