I got an Iphone 3gs from my cousin, who used the reset all content and settings button in settings. Unfortunately, now it goes to the logo screen with the loading indicator and immediately freezes, I have already done the hard restart, but it goes back to that screen.

What should I do?

Plug it into iTunes, and when it shows up, click the 'restore' button. This will reinstall the OS and restore it to the factory settings. All data on it will be lost, but it sounds like there isn't anything on it to lose anyway.

It almost sounds as if it was jailbroken and something was messed up. I've been stuck in an endless boot loop like that before, although I was messing around with files (that I probably shouldn't have touched) without backing them up first.

But yeah, as Jaygray said, Restoring should help.
QUOTE Thanks
