Bro the retainer clips on my metal back broke. Guess that's what you get for $10. Ordered a replacement and have the glass back on in meantime. But because the clips
Broke the screws fell out and I lost them. So I ordered screws on eBay. But they're not quite right so it's a bit ghetto. But if I bring It to apple they'll put in the new torque screws and I won't be able to change the back. What to do? |

I headed over to Lowes and bought one of these in both phillips and torx. Have every screwdriver I need for all of my electronics for about $10.

That could be. Have not had the need to take apart any of my iPods, iPhones, etc. They've been great on my Macs and Win boxes and notebooks.

Thanks guys, that's great. I guess I will call my Apple Store and see if they have the Torx screws to put in, and get a screwdriver.

I highly advise you to never try repairing the iPhone yourself, just go through Apple. And don't take apart your device for any reason.
