I moved my itunes to an external hard drive to save space on my macbook, but now when i plug in my iphone to synch, itunes doesn't see it at all. It's weird because my iphoto sees it fine ( but my iphoto is on my internal hard drive). How can I get my iphone to follow itunes out to the external hard drive and synch?
QUOTE Thanks

Is the external hard drive plugged in when you try to sync the iPhone?

JB = Jailbreak/Jailbroken

He's asking if the phone is Jailbroken.

It sounds to me like since you moved iTunes to an external drive it no longer knows where to search for things like connected devices. I would try totally deleting iTunes(not your music or anything) from both/any harddrives and then re-install itunes directly to the external drive. This is only if you moved iTunes in the first place by copy/paste method.
QUOTE Thanks
